The album Kumpas performed by the orchestral group Filharmonika features 11 tracks that were originally rock songs and were rearranged to 11 symphonic interpretations. Conducted by Gerard Salonga, this album decodes Pinoy rock songs into a whole new experience that provides an easy listening to the audience. For this album, it’s not entirely about the song itself but how favorite hits like 214 by Rivermaya, Salamat by The Dawn, and Ang Huling El Bimbo by Eraserheads were introduced to listeners in a whole new approach. – Check out Pulp's November issue to read more.
